If you think pancakes are off limits for your diet-think again!
Sunday morning fall pancakes, YUM!
Ingredients:
1 scoop protein powder
4Tbsp pure pumpkin ( from can-unsweetened)
1Tbsp ground flax
2 egg whites
2Tbsp almond milk
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Feel free to add some nuts or thinly sliced apples as well
Put all ingredients in a blender or magic bullet until smooth batter and cook on hot plate or greased frying pan.
Recipe makes 4 pancakes
for all 4: cal 211, 4 g fat, 9 g carbs, 36g protein
I like to double my batch and keep the rest in the fridge for the next day, try with coconut oil on top and a little maple syrup, apple jam or use all natural peanut butter or almond butter.
Would be great for an on the go snack too!
